Here’s an invitation to enjoy a day of immersion in the world of K-beauty through various booths and a lecture by a Korean makeup artist.

“K-Beauty Hangout” is scheduled on April 12, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., at SM Aura (Level 3, Atrium) in Taguig City, and organized by the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines and Korea Tourism Organization Manila, in collaboration with Jenny House, AmorePacific Philippines and SM Aura.

Jenny House, a beauty salon in Korea with over two decades of history, is famous for its services in hair, makeup, and cosmetics. Among its clients are some of Korea’s beloved K-drama celebrities, including Son Ye-jin of the 2019 “Crash Landing on You” and Park Shin-hye of this year’s “Doctor Slump.”

The booths offer learning experiences in Korea’s nail dyeing method and beauty brands, and a taste of its popular cinnamon punch. There is also a touch-up booth for a limited number of participants, as well as a “teaser” on what to expect at the first Korea Beauty Festival set in Seoul on May 31-June 30.

A lecture by a Jenny House makeup artist on the latest K-beauty trends and techniques starts at 3 p.m. Organizers promise quizzes and giveaways for guests throughout the day. Admission is free.
