PAGBILAO, Quezon—Local residents will soon have free access to the internet under a partnership forged between municipal officials and a leading provider of digital connectivity.

A memorandum of agreement was signed last March 25 by key officials of Pagbilao, a first-class municipality of Quezon, and Integrated Digital Outdoor (IDo) Solutions at the municipal court.

“Today marks a significant milestone in our efforts to create a more connected and digitally inclusive community,” Pagbilao Mayor Angelica Portes-Tatlonghari said at the event. “By partnering with IDo Solutions, we are taking concrete steps towards providing free Wi-Fi access to our residents, enabling them to harness the power of the internet for education, communication, and economic empowerment.”

Under the agreement, the digital company will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and management of Wi-Fi infrastructure in certain locations in Pagbilao.

“We are honored to partner with the municipal government of Pagbilao in this initiative,” said Gary Libby, president and CEO of IDo Solutions. “Our team is dedicated to delivering robust Wi-Fi infrastructure that will meet the evolving needs of the community and contribute to its socioeconomic development.”

The free Wi-Fi services will be rolled out in the municipal park and public market, providing residents easy access to online information and services, and promoting digital literacy and facilitating greater civic engagement among them.
